About Us

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy is to inspire a sense of belonging in children so that they feel safe and comfortable at the centre. We will focus on physical and social activities while giving them some time for their own to stimulate their creativity and curiosity.

Our Goals

– to provide quality care and meet individual development needs as effectively as possible
– to support children’s peer associations and encourage children to develop positive relationship with peers and staff
– to help children develop a sense of respect and responsibility towards themselves, others and their environment
– to provide stimulating, creative, and challenging programs
– to be supportive of the families

We are a LICENSED* daycare

The Community Care Facility Act licenses our program. It means: suitable facility and space, appropriate equipment, comprehensive and coordinated activities, proper insurance coverage, access to daycare subsidy, qualified and screened staff (academic, first aid, and medical clearance, and criminal record check), and proper staff to child ratio.

*BC law requires that caregivers who look after more than two children not related to them must have a license.

We are proud to share a part of what the licensing officer noted in her official report following a routine inspection from our facility:

“Children appeared happy and well occupied with various activities. Appropriate interactions were noted between staff and the children.”
